​ Tai chi teaches us to slow down, turn inward and embrace the opportunity to ground in the present moment. We learn to cultivate our own inner life force energy (chi) as well as how to apply it . By practising Tai Chi on a regular basis we learn how to come back to a place of being, instead of doing.

What is Tai Chi?
Tai Chi and Chi Gong are ancient forms of Chinese exercise, which have been practised for hundreds of years. The soft yet strong flowing movements , combined with meditative breathing, develop a deep sense of connection within our bodies and minds. Being a martial art, Tai Chi training harnesses the mind allowing the outer world and all its demands to fade into the background and a light to shine on our inner worlds. In essence, Tai Chi guides us back to our centre, a place of connection, by aiding us to develop a strong and flexible body and a calm and quiet mind.
